What is the earliest age you accept in the program?

The sooner the child gets exposed to the language the better. It would be ideal to have the child in a class immediately after birth. However, that option is usually unrealistic. Based on our experience, we suggest starting as soon as the child turns 1 year old. In fact, we offer a program called PlaySpanish for Babies® that specifically caters to children between one and two and a half years of age.

How much does it cost?

The fee for our program is very reasonable. The hourly fee ranges from $40 to $50 per hour, per group based on the class location and other factors.

Tuition for most After School programs at the public schools ranges from $350 to $425 for the entire school year – approximately 32 one-hour classes. In all cases, the fee includes all materials and supplies needed for the class.

Why PlaySpanish®?

We believe, very strongly, that any foreign language will be of benefit to a child. However, for all practical purposes, in today's American society the logical choice for a foreign language is Spanish; it is already the second most widely spoken language in the U.S. and its use will only increase.

Pragmatism aside, the ability to speak a foreign language enriches and enhances an individual's life in so many ways that it is impossible to explain it unless you have actually experienced it yourself. Exposure to a foreign language opens doors to ideas and experiences that would otherwise remain closed and undiscovered. A foreign language allows you to participate in a more diverse and fulfilling world.

At the same time, a foreign language allows to break the barriers of isolation while helping you develop your talents and abilities to their fullest extent. In other words, a foreign language helps you assert your place in the global community. We know, without the slightest doubt, that the children we are working with today will be tomorrow's leaders in their chosen fields.
